MISSION, VISION AND VALUES

Founded on January 6th 1998, Laborial is a provider for laboratory solutions which has it’s core business on three essential areas: technical furniture and fume cupboards; turn-key projects for laboratory and hospital critical areas; technological solutions for laboratories and controlled environments.

Our mission consists on conceiving and installing integrated solutions which aim to provide the users with a higher quality of life, health and security, by following strict normative principles of quality, security and environment.

Since its genesis, the company has focused its efforts on the development of innovating solutions and ends to fall in love with the conception and creation of projects and consequently to contemplate the final work. Laborial brand represents thus the frontier on the innovation and knowledge about integrated solutions for laboratories and hospital spaces.

It intends to contribute for the construction of a society of knowledge, based on research, development and innovation, always based on conscious principles of sustainability and social responsibility.

BUSINESS AREAS

TEAM

Our R&D&I center at Maia relies on a multidisciplinary, highly qualified team, comprising mechanical, electro-technical, chemical, IT and biomedical engineers, architects and industrial designers, specially dedicated to the development of new solutions for laboratory and clinical spaces.

Currently, R&D&I stands out as critical to our business, acting in compliance with new standards associated with buildings and, more specifically, laboratories: sustainability, energetic efficiency, indoor air quality, comfort, functionality, flexibility, safety and occupational health.

Qualified installation teams, with expertise in different specialties (electricity and data networks, installation of water and sewage networks, gas networks installation), ensure the assembly in accordance with rules of proper conduct and regulations.

LOGISTICS

An extremely competitive logistic model, adaptable to technical and economic changes, allows great flexibility when coming to new products and customer requirements also allowing reduced delivery times.

From land to sea or air transportation, we can make safe deliveries in any of the markets in which we operate, as well as its assembly, with a skillful staff.

Laborial is also an associated member of the PME COTEC network, of the Health Cluster Portugal, AEP (Portuguese Enterprise Association), Building Cluster of Minho and it was distinguished as PME Leader by IAPMEI.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Laborial develops its activity in different geographical and cultural areas, always expressing extra care in the design and implementation of projects in the markets where it operates, looking at all times to respect the social, environmental and cultural framework of projects, always seeking to create value for all the players involved in the process.

There is also an increased focus on the mission of transmitting knowledge on best security practices in laboratories in the markets where these definitions are not regulated.

We seek for the balance in the management of the different factors that are inherent to the company and its success, having as main premises the sustained growth and a strong valuing of human capital.

This range of technological products is a new development paradigm in the segment in which Laborial operates and serves as a driving force for future developments within the intelligent laboratories, extremely significant for the continued growth of the company.

CO-FUNDING PROJECTS

For many years we channel a strong investment in RDI, with the intention of developing modern, evolved and extremely competitive products, which can leverage the success of the company’s sales in international markets. Thus Laborial relies on RDI or internacionalization support programs, in order to gain competitiveness in the different areas of the company.
